BeAIOptimized — Terms and Conditions

Welcome! These terms explain how BeAIOptimized works and what you can expect from us. We've tried to keep them in plain English. By buying a package or filling out our intake form, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
BeAIOptimized (beaioptimized.com) is run by John Ament, a sole proprietor based in Greenville, Wisconsin. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean BeAIOptimized and John Ament. "You" means the person or business buying from us.

2. What we sell
AI Recommendation Report — $49 (one-time) We ask AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Grok) the kinds of questions your customers might ask, such as "best plumber near me." Your report shows: - whether and how the AI tools mention your business, - a score comparing you to 3 local competitors, - the websites and sources the AI tools seem to rely on, and - your Top 5 Fixes — simple steps that may help.
Report + Fix Kit — $99 (one-time) Everything in the Report, plus ready-to-use materials: - a Google Business Profile description you can copy and paste, - FAQ text for your website, - a ready-to-send message asking customers for reviews, - a checklist for your online profiles, and - a one-page summary you can forward to your website person.
Important: We do not log in to your accounts or make any changes for you. You (or someone you choose) put the materials in place.
Monthly Re-Check — $19/month (subscription) A fresh scan each month so you can see how things are changing. Cancel anytime. (Competitor alerts are not included at this time.)
We may update what's included in a package over time. If we do, the change won't affect a package you've already paid for.
3. Delivery
After you pay, please fill out our short intake form. We'll email your report (and Fix Kit, if you bought it) within 2 business days after we receive your completed form. Business days are Monday through Friday, not counting U.S. federal holidays.
If something you gave us is missing or unclear, we may email you a question, and the 2 days will start once we have what we need. For the Monthly Re-Check, each month's report is emailed around the same time each month.
Please check your spam folder if you don't see it. If you still don't have it, email us and we'll fix it.
4. AI answers change — no guarantees
AI tools are run by other companies, and their answers change often — sometimes from one day to the next, and even when the same question is asked twice. Your report is a snapshot of what we saw when we ran it.
We do not and cannot guarantee that you will: - rank higher on Google, maps, or any AI tool, - be recommended or mentioned by any AI tool, - get more reviews, calls, customers, or revenue, or - see any particular result.
Our reports and suggestions are general information to help you make your own decisions. They are not legal, financial, or professional advice.
5. Your part
You are responsible for: - giving us accurate information about your business, - deciding whether to use our suggestions, and putting any changes in place yourself (or through someone you choose), and - following the rules of every platform you use — for example Google, Yelp, Facebook, and others. Some platforms have strict rules about asking for reviews (for example, you generally shouldn't offer rewards for reviews or only ask happy customers). Please read and follow each platform's current rules. We are not responsible if a platform changes, limits, or removes your listing or reviews.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Payment Links. Prices are in U.S. dollars. We do not currently charge sales tax.
7. Monthly Re-Check: billing and cancelling
- You'll be charged $19 every month on about the same date you first signed up, until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime using the link in your Stripe receipt email (the Stripe customer portal), or by emailing hello@beaioptimized.com.
- When you cancel, you won't be charged again. You'll still get any re-check you've already paid for.
- If we ever change the monthly price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
- If a payment fails, Stripe may try again. If it still fails, we may pause your re-checks.
8. Refunds (14 days)
If you're not happy, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your payment.
- One-time packages ($49 and $99): within 14 days of purchase, even if we've already sent your report.
- Monthly Re-Check: within 14 days of your first monthly charge, you can ask for a refund of that charge. Later monthly charges are not refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
How to ask: Email hello@beaioptimized.com from the email you used to buy, with your business name and the word "Refund" in the subject line. You don't need to explain why (though we'd love to know how to do better). Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe and usually show up in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
9. Who owns what
- Your materials: Once you've paid, you may use, copy, change, and share the report and Fix Kit materials for your own business — including posting the text on your website and Google profile, and sending it to your web person or staff.
- What stays ours: Our methods, scoring system, report templates, website, and brand stay ours. Please don't resell our reports or use them to offer a competing service.
- Your information: You own the information you give us about your business. You let us use it to make and deliver your reports.
10. Other companies' names
ChatGPT, OpenAI, Perplexity, Claude, Anthropic, Gemini, Google, Grok, xAI, Yelp, Stripe, Tally and other names we mention are trademarks of their owners. BeAIOptimized is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. We mention them only to describe what our reports cover.
11. Fair use
Please don't: - give us false information or information about a business you don't own or represent (unless you have permission), - use our reports or materials to mislead customers, write fake reviews, or break any law or platform rule, - try to hack, overload, or misuse our website or forms, or - resell or redistribute our reports as your own service.
We may refuse or cancel an order that breaks these rules. If we cancel for a reason other than your misuse, we'll refund you.
12. Limitation of liability
We work hard to give you useful, accurate reports, but our service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Our total liability to you for anything related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the package involved. For the one-time packages, that means no more than $49 or $99.
- For the Monthly Re-Check, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the one (1) month before the event that caused the claim (that is, $19).
- We are not liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost profits, lost customers, lost revenue, damage to reputation, or problems caused by changes made by AI companies, Google, Yelp, or any other platform.
Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and if a change is important, we'll email subscribers. The terms in place when you bought a package apply to that purchase.
14. Wisconsin law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Outagamie County, Wisconsin, unless the law requires otherwise. Before going to court, we both agree to try to work it out by email first — most problems can be fixed with a quick message.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

Privacy Policy

We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to make your report, and we don't sell your information.
What we collect - Intake form answers: your name, email, phone (if you give it), business name, address, website, services, service areas, competitors, hours, and anything else you choose to tell us. Our form is run by Tally. - Payment details: Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares basic details with us, like your name, email, what you bought, and whether the payment went through. - Emails you send us.
How we use it - To make and deliver your reports and Fix Kit. - To run your Monthly Re-Check, if you subscribe. - To answer your questions, handle refunds, and send important updates about your order. - We don't send marketing emails.
AI tools we use To create your report, we send questions about your business — such as your business name, category, city, services, and competitors — to AI providers, including OpenAI (ChatGPT), Perplexity, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and xAI (Grok). We may also use AI tools to help write your Fix Kit text. These companies process that information under their own privacy policies. We don't send them your payment details, and we avoid sending your personal contact details (like your phone number or email) unless needed. Information about a business, like its name and address, is usually public already.
Who we share it with Only the service providers that help us run the business (such as Stripe, Tally, our email provider, and the AI providers above), or if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your information.
How long we keep it We keep your information while you're a customer and for up to 3 years afterward for records, taxes, and support. Want us to delete your information? Email hello@beaioptimized.com and we'll delete what we're not required to keep.
Keeping it safe We use trusted services and take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online system is 100% secure.
Kids Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
